PRIMARY PURPOSE
As a Sanitation Associate, it will be your job to maintain all sanitation standards established by the Distribution Center in order to ensure a clean and safe work environment for all associates.
What you will be doing:
Pick up debris, empty trash cans, remove spills in a prompt manner, dust racks, doors, lights, etc. Sweep and mop slots. Clean sanitation equipment, including sanitation boxes and mops. Sweep and scrub floors, as well as outside areas to help ensure the safety, proper sanitation and efficiency of the distribution center. Maintain equipment daily, topping off fluids, cleaning out brushes and washing equipment. Follow good sanitation practices; keep work area clean and free of debris.
QUALIFICATIONS
Able to reach, stoop, bend and lift up to 60 lbs. of equipment. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e., cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks). Able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to read and communicate in English, high school level. Certification on powered industrial equipment where applicable (will train associates).
