Job Description
Redefine Meals is looking for a dependable Sanitation Technician to help maintain a clean and safe food production environment. This role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, equipment, and facility spaces while following company food safety procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food production setting. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize food production equipment, workstations, and facility areas Follow company sanitation procedures and food safety guidelines Use and properly handle food-grade cleaning and sanitation chemicals Assist with cleaning floors, drains, walls, and food contact surfaces Disassemble and reassemble equipment when needed for proper cleaning Maintain basic sanitation logs and cleaning checklists Ensure work areas meet company cleanliness and safety standards Work closely with production teams to maintain a safe and organized environment Report any sanitation or maintenance issues to supervisors Qualifications Previous cleaning or sanitation experience in food production, manufacturing, or commercial kitchens preferred Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs Ability to work in refrigerated or cold production environments Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Spanish or bilingual communication skills are a plus
