Actalent is seeking a Laboratory Sanitation Technician (Aseptic Cleaning) who will be working in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment and will primarily focus on keeping the cleanroom laboratory sterilized and will have to fully gown up when going in and out of rooms. This is a long-term career opportunity and we are looking for someone with at least 6 months - 1+ years of experience working in a sterilization, sanitation, or similar cleaning environment that requires the use of PPE and/or following heavy regulations (examples may include sanitation in manufacturing or GMP regulated environments, cleaning in certain hospital settings, sterile processing, etc.). Experience MUST include the use of PPE and/or following strict regulations.

Shift:

1st, 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday (need some flexibility to work later/overtime as needed)

Description:

The Laboratory Sanitation Technician plays a critical role in assuring sanitary conditions of the controlled areas of manufacturing pharmaceuticals and related medical products. Performs sanitary cleaning duties of equipment and working stations, ensuring that everything meets necessary regulations. Keep the cleanroom sterilized so nothing gets cross contaminated in the pharmaceuticals. Maintains accurate and complete inventory of cleaning supplies ensuring supplies are never depleted. Trains and oversees other Aseptic Cleaners. Performs other oversight duties.

Qualifications:

MUST have at least a high school diploma or

GED. MUST

have at least 6 months - 1 year of experience performing sanitation or cleaning in a regulated environment or other experience in a cleanroom/sterilized room (examples could include working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or something that might be similarly regulated). Regular janitorial experience without regulated experience and strict PPE requirements would not meet the qualifications. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
