Job Description

Job Title:
Sanitation Technician Hours Required:
Monday - Friday, 10 pm - 6:30 am, weekends & OT as required
Position Description:
Performs all tasks involved in cleaning equipment in a food manufacturing plant Requirements include the use of corrosive chemicals daily to clean assigned production equipment, machines, floors, drain lines and the entire production area Follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure the sanitation of the production plant as efficiently and safely as possible.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Cleans floor, overhead piping, ceiling, under machines, drains, hand sanitizer station, walls, and light diffusers Cleans, rinses, and sanitizes filler(s) before re-assembly for production Checks the daily production schedule and complete appropriate setup for the filler and area Responsible to use necessary pipe washes and assure time, temperature, and chemical concentration is correct Properly stores all cleaning supplies at the end of the shift Participates in Continuous Improvement Process Follows all Quality policies & procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) Follows all Safety policies & procedures and participates in monthly observations
Requirements:
6 months to 1-year general manufacturing experience Good work attendance (no more than 3 occurrences) Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
