In this role, you will be responsible for operating torches and heavy equipment to facilitate material handling, waste processing, and sanitation tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in heavy equipment operation, including loaders, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks. Your expertise will ensure efficient workflow, safety compliance, and cleanliness across various operational sites. Duties Operate torches safely and efficiently for cutting, welding, or material processing tasks in manufacturing or waste management environments. Manage loader operations to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility or work site. Utilize excavators and forklifts to move heavy loads, organize materials, and support production or sanitation activities. Operate front loader trucks and roll-off trucks for waste collection, disposal, and transportation. Perform routine cleaning of work areas and equipment to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Assist with garbage truck operations and sanitation duties to ensure proper waste removal procedures. Conduct heavy lifting tasks using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Support the maintenance of heavy equipment through basic inspections and reporting any issues promptly. Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy equipment operation including loaders, excavators, forklifts, front loader trucks, and roll-off trucks. Knowledge of manufacturing processes or waste management operations is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various environmental conditions. Strong understanding of sanitation standards and waste disposal procedures. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Physical stamina for demanding tasks involving manual labor and long periods of standing or operating machinery.
