Sanitation Technician Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am•5:00 pm (overtime as needed) Position Summary The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining facility cleanliness to ensure food safety and overall quality. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in refrigerated environments. Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness throughout the entire facility, including production areas, break rooms, locker rooms, and restrooms. Dispose of boxes, trash, and inedible product (using a box cutter and compactor as needed). Sweep, mop, squeegee, or otherwise clean floors as required. Wipe down condensation on equipment and surfaces in production areas. Restock production supplies (hairnets, aprons, sleeves, gloves, etc.) and restroom supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.). Clean and sanitize lunch and break rooms, including tables, chairs, countertops, and microwaves. Monitor safety standards and report needed repairs (e.g., leaky faucets, toilets) or unsafe conditions to supervisor and management. Complete and submit written reports of unsafe acts or observations. Adhere to all company safety and sanitation guidelines, participating in safety programs as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned or outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule. Requirements At least 6 months of related sanitation, janitorial, or cleaning experience (food industry preferred) Ability to work in cold, refrigerated environments Must be able to safely use basic cleaning tools and equipment, including a box cutter Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities Basic verbal and written communication skills Physical ability to perform manual labor, stand for extended periods, and lift as needed Team player, punctual, self-motivated, reliable Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in food production or sanitation Bilingual skills a plus (not required) 10285213 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
