Duties Operate dry ice blasting machinery to remove contaminants such as grease, paint, mold, and other residues from surfaces. Follow detailed safety protocols to ensure safe handling of dry ice and equipment during all operations. Prepare work areas by setting up barriers, protective gear, and ensuring proper ventilation before commencing blasting activities. Inspect equipment regularly for maintenance needs and report any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to plan cleaning schedules that minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Document work performed, including areas cleaned, materials used, and any issues encountered during each shift. Adhere strictly to environmental regulations regarding the disposal of residual debris and used materials. Skills Strong understanding of dry ice blasting techniques and equipment operation. Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning without damaging surfaces. Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and use personal protective equipment correctly.
