Position Summary The Night Shift Sanitation Technician is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, machinery, and facility areas, while adhering to all company procedures and safety guidelines. This role works closely with a team to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and facility areas according to company procedures and training guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility. Follow sanitation procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols. Work collaboratively with a team of approximately 4-8 employees. Identify, communicate, and report safety concerns or hazards promptly. Support and maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Accurately complete cleaning tasks and documentation as required. Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by management. Qualifications and Skills Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Experience cleaning or working around industrial or computer-integrated equipment preferred. Knowledge of automated systems or PLCs is helpful, but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Education and Experience High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred. Previous sanitation, janitorial, manufacturing, or food production experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work around cleaning chemicals and production equipment while following safety procedures.
