Knowledge of running pickup routes. Experience with handling operating manuals and work orders. Ability to establish a rapport with customers and co-workers. Ability to prioritizing workloads and monitor equipment and vehicles.Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to operate a compactor and forklift. Ability to perform basic math functions. Ability to lift 40 lbs alone and 80 lbs with help.Job Description:
This position is responsible for assisting in maintaining the university's waste management program by servicing litter control barrels that are located throughout the university grounds.Job Duties:
Run recycling routes. Pick up of recyclable material on campus including emergency pick-ups. Processing of recyclable material collected on campus. Work special events. Ensures work time is recorded on work orders. Maintain equipment and vehicles that are used on a daily basis. Support and assist recycling and waste management coordinator in program operations.
