Job Description Summary Responsible for the effective cleaning and sanitation of the equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and producing a good quality product. Job Description Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Clean sanitation areas, equipment, and machinery by using the proper equipment. Properly handle foamer and other chemicals used in the sanitation process and know the purpose of each chemical used. Complete accurate paperwork for the assigned areas Execute the cleaning of designated sanitation areas. Notify sanitation or production supervisor of any safety concerns or equipment problems. Must have ability to drive a forklift safely. Inspects equipment after each clean up to make sure it is clean and ready for inspection. Scrub equipment and machines during clean up or as needed Clean designated area and shovel debris from the floors. Responsible for cleaning the equipment, including cleaning floors, dusting equipment, pipes, ceiling, washing walls, windows. Ability to work as part of a team, capable of learning multiple jobs and maintaining a high quality of work. Actively participate in the training of new employees Other duties will be assigned as needed. Basic & Preferred Qualifications Regularly exposed to wet, hot, and cold conditions. Excellent attendance Must be able to work with chemicals Ability to stand for long periods of time. Preferred to have sanitation experience but not required Must have the ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral form. Experience using/working with cleaning tools. Been able to work effectively unsupervised if required Able to work in a team environment. Able to lift or move up to 50lbs.
