Job Description

Sanitation Technician Compensation:
$22.50 per hour

Ixonia, Wisconsin Schedule:
11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Overnight) Role Overview Our 3rd shift team is looking for a meticulous and dependable Sanitation Technician. You will play a vital role in upholding food safety and product excellence by sanitizing our production machinery and facility spaces. We need a self-motivated individual who possesses mechanical skills and thrives in a high-speed manufacturing setting while adhering to all regulatory requirements. Primary Responsibilities Sanitize and scrub production machinery, piping, kettles, and storage totes. Maintain the cleanliness of facility areas, including restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and administrative offices. Perform the disassembly and reassembly of production equipment to facilitate deep cleaning. Utilize cleaning agents and solvents in strict accordance with established safety protocols. Support the onboarding and guidance of incoming staff members. Work alongside the Maintenance, Quality, and Shipping teams to ensure smooth operational flow. Maintain full compliance with all internal safety guidelines and company policies. Ensure the safety of the entire team by consistently wearing all mandated personal protective equipment. Promptly communicate any sanitation gaps, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to management. Uphold rigorous food safety and quality benchmarks to protect our consumers. Complete miscellaneous tasks as directed by leadership. Required Qualifications Previous background in industrial sanitation or cleaning is a plus. Demonstrated mechanical ability and comfort handling production machinery. High level of precision and a dedication to maintaining food safety standards. Proven capacity to function effectively both autonomously and within a group. Strong capabilities in time management, planning, and organization. Ability to resolve issues and communicate in a professional manner. Capacity to comprehend and execute both written and spoken directives. Physical Demands Capable of lifting weights up to 50 pounds. Able to perform repetitive movements like standing, walking, reaching, bending, and twisting throughout your shift. Comfortable operating in environments that are wet and involve exposure to sanitizing agents. Consistent availability for overnight work schedules.
