As a Busser, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the heart of our restaurant—ensuring tables are spotless, sanitized, and perfectly reset throughout the day. You'll be a key player in upholding top-tier health and safety standards, following both state regulations and our company's high-quality protocols. RESPONSIBILITIES

Must have or the ability to obtain an Alaska Food Handler's Card. Must support and comply with company health and safety standards. Must be able to lift 50 lbs./23kg. Ability to prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. You must also have the ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, supervise and manage staff. Keeping tables clean, sanitized and ready for new guests. Move dirty dishes and glasses to proper locations throughout the restaurant. Help maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Communicate with front of house staff what tables are clean or what might be needed. Communicate with kitchen staff of what products you need. Contribute effectively to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.

REQUIREMENTS

Must pass a pre-employment background check. Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

Ability to organize and prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals. Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
