Food Runner / Busser Shir Chai North Brunswick, NJ Shir Chai is hiring Food Runners and Bussers to join our team. We are looking for hardworking, dependable team members who can thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment and help create a great experience for every guest. This position is ideal for someone who works well under pressure, stays organized during busy shifts, and is willing to jump in wherever needed. Responsibilities Deliver food quickly and accurately to guests Clear and reset tables efficiently Assist servers and team members during service Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and service stations Refill water and assist guests as needed Stock plates, utensils, sauces, and restaurant supplies Complete opening and closing side work Help maintain smooth restaurant operations during busy hours Requirements Restaurant experience preferred but not required Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Must be reliable and punctual Comfortable standing and moving for long periods Weekend availability strongly preferred, especially Friday through Sunday Schedule Full-time and part-time positions available Day and evening shifts Weekend availability required Pay Competitive hourly pay based on experience If you are motivated, team-oriented, and ready to work in a high-energy restaurant environment, we'd love to hear from you.
