Gloucester, Massachusetts job type: Contract salary: $28.36 - 37.00 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Negotiate favorable pricing, delivery terms, and vendor contracts to procure materials, equipment, and services at the lowest cost without compromising quality or urgency.

Issue RFQs, analyze proposals, recommend new suppliers in collaboration with engineering teams, and manage non-strategic suppliers up to $5M.Lead purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering to maintain planned inventory levels and resolve complex material-related accounting or receiving issues.

Manage the end-to-end order lifecycle using

SAP/SCV/ARIBA

software to issue and adjust orders, expedite shipments, verify deliveries, and approve payments.

Act as a resource for less experienced team members, lead small supply chain projects, and leverage data analysis to solve complex procurement problems in a fast-paced environment.
