This position is required to place purchase orders and receive delivery of materials in a timely matter that meets customer work order requirements and maintain appropriate stock inventory levels. Essential Functions Qualify and determine which vendors provide the greatest value regarding price, quality and on time delivery Report metrics to production planning team Place and manage purchase orders, keeping delivery dates in line with Organizational deadlines Confirm expected ship and delivery dates with vendors Maintain knowledge and proficiency in all aspects of the material management system as well as working knowledge of finance practices and procedures that interface with the material management system Collaboration with other departments to coordinate material handling, delivery, and distribution of material products Work with the finance department in relation to supplier information, cost analysis, purchase orders, and resolving invoicing issues Perform other buyer/inventory related duties as requested Kendall Howard provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, or disability.
