Karen Swigert Description ASC Engineered Solutions is looking for a Buyer who will be responsible for purchasing activities required to procure materials and supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner to support the manufacturing facility. How You Will Help Researching and comparing suppliers, goods, and services. Selecting the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency. Preparing and processing purchase orders. Maintaining records of all purchasing-related transactions. Scheduling and verifying purchase deliveries to support production schedules. Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier relations. Work with Accounts Payable Department on resolving invoice discrepancies. Monitor market trends and conditions for products used by ASC. Perform other related duties as directed by Purchasing and Procurement Manager. What You Will Bring Minimum of AS Degree in Business or related field. MRP experience a plus. Knowledge of Infor Manufacturing systems a plus. At least two years of clerical experience preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills. High level of attention to detail. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to learn purchasing procedures and policies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel proficiency required.
