Full-Time A growing company in the marine industry is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Buyer / Coordinator to support purchasing operations, inventory management, and product lifecycle coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with buying, merchandising, or business analysis experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment. Responsibilities Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and supplier metrics to support strategic buying decisions Create and manage purchase orders based on demand forecasts, sales trends, and promotional activity Follow up with vendors regarding order status, lead times, backorders, and delivery schedules Support product transitions including new and discontinued SKUs Collaborate with Category Managers to align purchasing with product life cycles and business goals Assist with vendor program tracking, pricing files, MAP/MRP policies, and related documentation Support product research, merchandising, and website content updates Assist with additional projects and operational support as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, merchandising, buying support, or business analysis Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and nested IF formulas Ability to interpret sales and inventory data to support business decisions Experience working in eCommerce, retail, distribution, or supply chain environments preferred SQL knowledge is a plus Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Work Environment This position is based in a professional office environment within the marine sales industry. The role involves significant computer use, data analysis, and communication with vendors and internal teams in a collaborative but self-directed setting. Why Apply?
