7:00am-3:30pm We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer / Supply Chain Coordinator to support and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving efficiencies across purchasing, production, and distribution. This is a highly collaborative position that plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly while supporting cost control, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Manage purchasing activities, including purchase orders, requisitions, and vendor communication
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure material availability and workflow alignment
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system (receiving, tracking, and reconciliation)
• Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies; implement corrective actions to improve accuracy
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to support production without overstocking
• Develop and track supply chain performance metrics (cost, delivery, efficiency)
• Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost savings
• Coordinate and optimize shipping, transportation, and warehousing strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
• Evaluate supplier performance and assist in qualifying new vendors
• Support new product launches and engineering changes by ensuring material readiness and supply continuity

Buyer/ Supply Chain Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or inventory control (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Experience working with ERP systems (inventory, purchasing, MRP)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and solve problems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer systems
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
