CALIFORNIA NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED

This is an excepted service position th requires membership in the California Nional Guard. Selectee required to wear the military uniform. Qualificions General Experience:

Possess experience, educion or training which provides the ability to demonstre a working knowledge to read and interpret instructions, repair manual, specificions and drawings; must have a knowledge of shop mhemics sufficient to use testing devices and measuring instruments; and be proficient in the use and maintenance of hand tools and equipment.

Must have least 18 months of experience or training with substantial mechanical skill to effectively and efficiently repair, overhaul, and rebuild small arms for both conventional uses and for weapons involving accurizion; Experience inspecting, diagnosing malfunctions, wear and/or damage; the ability to perform accurizion procedures on weapons to improve their performance; Basic knowledge of other trades in order to modify and/or manufacture weapons parts for accurizion; Experience applying technical manuals, regulions, specificions and drawings to determine operion, assembly and tolerances of the variety of weapons worked on; Experience using and maintaining a variety of hand and power tools and gages.
