Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to serve as the primary Quality representative on our MRO line. The role requires collaboration with operations, engineering, and customers to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained. Responsibilities Lead and support root cause investigations, FRACAS management, corrective actions, and nonconformance management. Gather, analyze, and present data to identify trends and risks effectively. Ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively, escalating where appropriate and following through to closure. Adapt to evolving situations, making confident and responsible decisions. Essential Skills Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, filters, etc.). Quality engineering expertise. Root cause analysis. AS9100 knowledge. Aerospace inspection practices. 3+ years of experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing, preferably in an MRO environment. Strong data analysis skills. Effective communication across functions and levels. Additional Skills & Qualifications

J-STD, IPC-610

certifications (current or previous). Exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (Siemens MES, Factory Logix preferred). Advanced data analysis skills (PowerBI, SQL). Work Environment The position operates on a first shift, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility to start at 7 AM. The role reports to the Quality Supervisor. The environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability and ownership of responsibilities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valencia, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $53.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
