• 4:30 pm This role focuses on preparing custom cabinet components for finishing by performing detailed sanding and quality checks in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

You will start in the trim department, gain exposure to multiple production areas, and have the opportunity to move into other departments and advance as you develop your skills.

Responsibilities:

Prepare cabinet doors and components for finishing by using handheld orbital sanders, block sanders, and sponge sanders to create smooth, consistent surfaces. Perform edge and profile sanding using edge sanders or specialized tools to smooth sides, contours, and detailed profiles of cabinet parts. Inspect sanded components visually to ensure they meet quality and specification standards before moving them to the next production phase. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to support sanding, trimming, and related production tasks. Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to confirm dimensions and ensure components meet required specifications. Support general production activities in the trim department and other assigned areas, including basic assembly and handling of cabinet components. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and using required personal protective equipment. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while keeping up with training and production expectations. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and maintain consistent product quality.

Essential Skills:

At least 6 months of previous work experience in any industry. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs safely and repeatedly throughout the shift. Ability to pass a tape measure test and accurately read measurements. Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and keeping up with ongoing training. Basic experience using hand tools and power tools. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination for detailed sanding and handling of components. Ability to perform general labor and production tasks reliably and safely. Why Work Here?
