Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cabinet Maker and bring craftsmanship to life through precise woodworking and custom cabinetry projects. In this role, you will transform raw materials into beautifully crafted cabinets, furniture, and fixtures that enhance both residential and commercial spaces. Your expertise will ensure each piece is built with quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal in mind. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct cabinets and related woodwork. Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom cabinetry using a variety of hand tools and power tools with precision. Fabricate components through woodworking techniques, including framing, finishing, and detailed trim carpentry. Install fixtures such as doors, drawers, handles, and hardware to ensure functional and aesthetic quality. Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, sealing, caulking, and painting to achieve a polished look. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met within project timelines. Conduct site measurements and prepare materials for installation at construction sites or renovation projects. Assist with other carpentry tasks including framing, siding installation, metal stud framing, roofing support, or masonry work as needed. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and proper handling of heavy lifting equipment and hazardous materials. Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for restoration or remodeling projects. Compensation This is a paid position that includes a commission structure provided per project . Commission details, including applicable percentages, will be communicated per project and are based on project scope, completion, and quality standards. Skills Extensive experience in cabinetry construction, installation, and repair within the restoration or remodeling industry. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to carpentry projects. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, saws) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders) safely and effectively. Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes for project planning and resource management. Ability to perform trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, flooring installation, tile laying or water damage restoration tasks when required. Experience with fabrication techniques including CNC machinery operation for custom parts manufacturing. Familiarity with plumbing or electrical experience beneficial for integrated cabinetry projects or remodeling work. Knowledge of heavy lifting procedures and proper use of scaffolding or ladders on construction sites. Ability to read schematics for metal stud framing or rebar installation in concrete forming applications. Excellent craftsmanship in woodworking—sanding, staining, finishing—and attention to detail for high-quality results. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members on-site or in manufacturing settings.
