Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cabinet Maker and CNC Operator, where your craftsmanship and technical expertise will bring custom woodworking projects to life! In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling high-quality cabinets using the latest tools including CNC (Computer Numerical Control) mills and edge banders. This position offers a vibrant, fast-paced environment that values precision and teamwork. Whether you're shaping wood with hand tools or programming CNC machines for intricate cuts, your skills will directly contribute to creating stunning, functional spaces for our clients. As a founding member of the team, you will be eligible for a profit sharing program on top of your salary and other benefits! Duties Cut, shape, and assemble cabinet components with precision according to detailed schematics and blueprints Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and routers Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication of custom cabinetry and fixtures Partner with our field team to ensure they have what they need to install and finish cabinets on-site Perform heavy lifting safely when handling large materials or finished products; ensure proper use of scaffolding or lifts when necessary Maintain a clean and organized work area; conduct routine maintenance on tools and CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance Experience Proven experience in cabinetry fabrication or woodworking with a strong background in construction or remodeling industries Hands-on experience operating CNC machines preferred, though training will be provided Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards Experience working on construction sites or manufacturing environments with a focus on precision craftsmanship Experience in a lead, supervisory, or shop-management role at a licensed contracting or cabinet business not required but preferred Join us if you're passionate about woodworking craftsmanship combined with cutting-edge CNC technology!
