Job Description

Crown Cabinets is looking for the right tech to handle all service needs. We are looking for someone who is reliable and and has experience in the Cabinet world regarding installation, hinges, overlays, hardware, etc. This role involves traveling to neighborhoods where projects are taking place and at times, talking with the homeowners. We offer a benefits package for full-time along with other incentives. We are a family-owned business and would love to welcome a new team member to join our fun group!
SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate woodworking equipment safely, following standard equipment operating procedures and established woodworking procedures. When there is no service scheduled you will help in the shop. Assemble cut and shape materials and fastens them together using nails, screws or glue and following the drawing details. Assemble and inspect each product to ensure it meets company's quality standard. Maintain a clean work environment including practicing good housekeeping methods, always clean up after your self when in a customers home. Handling all service calls. Service calls can be anywhere from adjusting a drawer box to installing a vanity or replacing broken parts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Cabinet experience is a must High School diploma or GED preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to coordinate the movements of eyes, hands, and fingers. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally more. Must be able to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects. Good math skills and the ability to read/interpret shop drawing and blueprints. Must be able to follow specific directions. Must be able stand or walk for long periods. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, percentages, and fractions. Must be able to read and understand measuring tools and levels. Must be able to compare and see differences in the size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects. Must have a drivers license.
