Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cabinetry Painter/Stainer/Sander and play a vital role in transforming raw materials into beautifully finished cabinetry. Responsibilities Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding using hand tools, power tools, and industrial sanders to achieve smooth finishes. Apply stains, paints, or finishes using airless paint spraying equipment or manual brushes to enhance the appearance of cabinetry. Use auto body repair techniques and auto painting skills to correct surface imperfections and ensure flawless finishes. Operate forklifts and cranes safely for materials handling and movement within the manufacturing area. Conduct quality inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments and basic math skills to verify finish consistency and adherence to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by handling materials efficiently and following safety protocols related to welding, fabrication, and use of hand tools. Assist in assembly and fabrication processes as needed, supporting overall production flow within lean manufacturing principles. Experience Prior experience in industrial or construction painting, auto body repair, or auto painting is highly desirable. Hands-on knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, and the use of power tools is beneficial. Warehouse experience involving materials handling with forklifts or cranes will be advantageous. Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and the use of precision measuring instruments enhances performance in this role. Basic math skills are essential for measurements and quality checks during finishing processes. Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding, airless paint spraying, and the operation of hand tools is required for maintaining a safe work environment. Pay:
$19.00 - $26.00 per hour
