Job Title:
Cable Assembler Job Description The Cable Assembler builds ruggedized cables for electronic applications by following detailed blueprints and schematics. This role involves hands-on assembly work using hand tools and soldering techniques to produce high-quality, durable cable assemblies. Responsibilities Assemble ruggedized cables according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Use hand tools and soldering equipment to build and terminate cable assemblies to specification. Inspect cables during and after assembly to ensure quality, durability, and adherence to technical requirements. Follow established assembly procedures and best practices to maintain consistency and reliability in all cable builds. Maintain a clean and organized work area while handling tools and materials safely. Sit for extended periods while performing detailed assembly and soldering tasks. Essential Skills Proven experience building cables in an assembly or electronics environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Proficiency using common hand tools for cable assembly. Basic soldering skills for cable connections and terminations. Strong attention to detail and quality-focused work habits. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with ruggedized or industrial-grade cable assemblies. Familiarity with electronics or electrical cabling environments. Ability to follow written and visual work instructions accurately. Comfort performing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks while seated. Why Work Here? The setting is designed for comfort and concentration, supporting precise, quality-focused work throughout the shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Melbourne, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
