www.solotech.com The Cable Technician is responsible for testing and repairing cable, preparing cable orders, and processing cable department returns to support live production operations. Your day will look like this: Examine equipment lists for tours and pull all cabling orders Determine if cable is damaged and clearly mark items for repair Coordinate order preparation priorities alongside the Warehouse Manager Prepare, fill, and receive orders in the R2 inventory system Customize equipment based on customer purchase orders when required Complete equipment lists in the R2 software Modify equipment orders based on availability Ensure all equipment shipped to planned locations is in good condition Maintain cleanliness and organization within the department Report damaged or missing items to the supervisor Track inventories, kits, cable assembly bundles, and related materials Respond to questions and issues from technicians, coordinators, and road crews Clean and visually inspect returned equipment Clean, label, and inventory cabling Follow company and industry quality standards for preparation Other duties as assigned Your profile: Less than one (1) year of experience in production equipment rentals/operations Experience in cabling or electrics is considered an asset Degree in audiovisual or electronics field is considered an asset Knowledge of inventory software preferred Knowledge of Office365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) Basic knowledge of cable types used in the live entertainment production industry preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Team-oriented mindset Strong ability to prioritize tasks within tight deadlines Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change Strong customer service skills Forklift certification preferredPhysical Requirements:
