As a CAD Designer / Product Designer , you'll collaborate with customers, sales, and production to create high‑quality, custom equipment, while helping improve future designs through innovation and expertise. What You'll Do Design custom communications enclosures using 3D modeling software Modify existing production designs to meet customer needs Create bills of material, customer drawings, and manufacturing documentation Support design testing and continuous improvement efforts Develop innovative design solutions to improve quality and reduce cost Collaborate with engineering, sales, production, and customers What We're Looking For Education Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred Equivalent education and hands‑on experience considered Experience & Skills Proficient in 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Syteline a plus) Sheet metal design experience required Stamping dies, jigs, and fixtures experience preferred 2+ years of industrial mechanical engineering experience Professional Skills Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to work professionally with internal teams and customers Physical & Safety Requirements Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and use hands for detailed work Must wear safety glasses and steel‑toe boots Safety procedures must be followed at all times This position has no direct reports.
