CAD Drafter

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and detailed plans that bring manufacturing projects to life. Your expertise will support project development from initial concepts through to construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity in every detail. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to impactful projects across various sectors. Duties Develop comprehensive 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software; primarily Solidworks. Translate conceptual sketches into detailed schematics and technical plans that meet project specifications and standards. Prepare documents, including layouts and fab details for machining, bending, welding and other fabrication systems. Collaborate with foremen, management, and designers to ensure design intent is accurately represented in all drawings. Review and revise drawings based on feedback, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project requirements. Maintain organized CAD files and documentation for easy access and version control throughout the project lifecycle. Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, c, SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds Max is highly desirable. Solidworks is preferred. Strong understanding of drafting standards, schematics development, system design, and construction documentation processes. Knowledge of interior design principles, mechanical design concepts, graphic design fundamentals, and 2D animation techniques enhances versatility. Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and translate ideas into clear visual representations. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all deliverables. Effective communication skills for collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and presenting ideas clearly. Pay:

$17.00 - $23.00 per hour
