Job Description
Job Description The Permit Coordinator I (PC I) position is an entry‑level role within the Permit Coordination career path, with a primary focus on using CAD software to create and update permit and utility drawings in support of electric distribution projects. This role works under the guidance of senior permit coordinators, designers, and project leadership. The PC I is responsible for supporting permitting activities by producing accurate, clear, and compliant CAD drawings used for municipal, DOT, and utility permit submittals.

Responsibilities may include:
Creating and revising CAD drawings for permit applications, including electric distribution layouts, lighting plans, and joint‑use exhibits Updating drawings based on field data, markups, redlines, and reviewer comments Assisting with preparation of permit packages by ensuring drawings meet jurisdictional and client standards Maintaining drawing files, naming conventions, and document control within client systems Entering and updating data related to permits, work orders, and design changes Supporting permit tracking, routing, and status updates alongside CAD deliverables Assisting with schedule updates, reporting, and basic client documentation as needed We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
