Job Description:

CGI Inc. is looking for 1-2 entry-level CAD drafters to work on process plant design projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The drafter will be responsible for:

• communicating directly with lead designer as well as client's process engineers,
• modifying and creating Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs),
• modifying and creating piping isometric and plan drawing from 3D models
• understanding and implementing piping specifications, and
• providing drafting support for other disciplines.

Experience:

Working knowledge of process flow diagrams, piping & instrument diagrams, equipment arrangements, piping system design, and design specifications is preferred. Experience with process plant design and typical construction methods is desirable.

Requirements:

Applicants should be team players, detail oriented, and self-driven. It is important that applicants have internal motivation and a thirst to expand their skillset. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and basic knowledge of MS Excel & MS Word is expected. CGI will additionally train otherwise qualified applicant.

Education:

A drafting degree is preferred but strong consideration will be given to other degrees and experience based on qualifications, past work experience, and attitude. We work 4- 10 hour days which provides the benefit of a 3 day weekend, weekly.
