In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. As a key leader, you will motivate staff, manage inventory, and uphold the cafe's reputation for excellence. Your enthusiasm and management skills will drive a lively, welcoming atmosphere where both team members and customers thrive. Duties Supervise daily cafe operations, including food preparation, service flow, and cleanliness to ensure a smooth customer experience Lead staff training and development, fostering a positive team environment focused on hospitality and food safety standards Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food production efficiency Oversee cash handling procedures and operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate transactions Ensure compliance with health regulations, food handling protocols, and safety procedures across all areas of the cafe Coordinate shift schedules, assign tasks, and supervise team members to maintain high performance during busy hours Support culinary activities including cooking, food presentation, and quick service techniques in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Proven supervising experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with strong leadership skills Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required Background in hospitality management or restaurant management preferred; fine dining or casual dining experience is a plus Skilled in inventory control, food management, and kitchen supervision with a focus on quality standards Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently Strong team management capabilities including staff training, interviewing potential employees, and shift management Knowledge of catering, barista or coffee experience is advantageous; hotel or banquet experience also valued Join us as a Cafe Supervisor where your leadership fuels an energetic atmosphere that delights customers and empowers your team.
