Cafeteria Worker

Master Minds Academy is seeking a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Cafeteria Worker to join our growing school family! We are looking for someone who is passionate about serving children, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and works well in a fast-paced setting. This position is ideal for an individual with experience in food preparation, meal service, and kitchen sanitation who understands the importance of professionalism, punctuality, and teamwork in a school environment. Position Responsibilities Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks according to school meal guidelines Assist with food prep, portioning, packaging, and meal distribution Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, serving areas, refrigerators, and storage spaces Follow all food safety and health regulations Monitor food temperatures and proper food storage procedures Complete daily meal count records and simple paperwork accurately (meals served, leftovers, inventory, etc.) Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries and supplies Work cooperatively with administration and staff to ensure smooth cafeteria operations Maintain a positive and professional attitude with students, parents, and staff Help ensure students receive meals in a safe, timely, and caring environment Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in food preparation, cafeteria service, childcare food programs, or commercial kitchen work preferred Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Must be dependable, punctual, and professional Strong work ethic and integrity required Ability to lift food boxes/supplies and stand for extended periods Experience with school meal programs or
