Camp Director

Camp Director - Camp Fairwood (Wisconsin) Camp Fairwood, set within the picturesque surroundings of central Wisconsin, is seeking a spiritually mature, mission-driven Camp Director to lead and oversee all aspects of our year-round Christian camp and retreat ministry. This individual will provide strong leadership in program development, staff oversight, operations, and spiritual direction, helping to create an environment where campers and guests grow in their relationship with Christ.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, plan, and oversee all youth camps, family camps, and retreats Recruit, train, and supervise seasonal staff and volunteers Ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained facilities and daily operations Manage budgets, fundraising efforts, and financial stewardship Support and collaborate with the board to cast vision and strategic direction

Key Qualifications:

Clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a growing, Spirit-led life Passion for discipleship and leading others to know and follow Christ Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience in camp ministry, youth ministry, or related leadership roles preferred Alignment with the camp s doctrinal statement, mission, and values

About Camp Fairwood Located on over 200 acres of forest and prairie in central Wisconsin, Camp Fairwood provides a peaceful yet vibrant setting where lifelong memories are formed and lives are transformed by Christ. As a year-round ministry, the camp is active an average of 36 weeks each year. Its busiest season is the summer, when it hosts seven weeks of camp, averaging around 130 campers per week and employing 40-45 staff members to lead and support the program. This consistent rhythm reflects the camp s ongoing impact and expanding reach. For more than 60 years, Camp Fairwood has faithfully served as a year-round Baptist Christian camp and is affiliated with the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches (GARBC). Through youth camps, family camps, and retreats, the ministry is committed to impacting lives through biblical teaching and authentic Christian community. Generations of campers have experienced lasting life change and spiritual growth in an environment intentionally designed to draw people closer to God.
