In this role, you will be the driving force behind creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for children and youth. Your leadership will inspire staff, foster positive relationships with campers, and ensure all activities align with our mission of personal growth, fun, and development. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young lives while managing a dynamic team in a lively camp setting. Duties Plan, organize, and supervise daily camp activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal development. Lead and motivate camp staff through effective training, clear communication, and ongoing support. Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by implementing rigorous safety protocols and emergency procedures. Manage camper enrollment, attendance records, and parent communications to maintain a smooth operation. Foster an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and encourages positive behavior management. Coordinate special events, performances, or outings such as sports tournaments or theatrical productions. Maintain compliance with all licensing requirements, health regulations, and organizational policies. Requirements Proven experience in childcare, education, or camp management with a strong background in working with children. Knowledge of classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and childhood development principles. Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional certifications in special education or Christian counseling are a plus. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and engagement. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Passion for working with children through activities such as sports coaching, theater arts, babysitting, or tutoring. Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with parents, staff, and community partners.
