Camp R.O.A.R. Student Worker Position

Camp R.O.A.R. is now hiring energetic and motivated student leaders from Yorktown ISD to serve as summer student workers! We are looking for current YISD students who will be entering 10th grade, through graduating seniors, who are excited to spend the month of June making a difference in the lives of younger students. Program Dates & Hours June 2026 (Monday-Thursday) 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Position Overview Student workers will support Camp R.O.A.R. staff in creating a fun, engaging, and enriching summer experience for students in grades 1-5 . This is a great opportunity for students who enjoy working with children, being active, and developing leadership skills.

Responsibilities Include:

Assisting with small group activities in math, reading, and science Supporting hands-on learning experiences and enrichment activities Helping supervise recreational games and outdoor activities Encouraging and motivating younger students to reach their full potential Serving as positive role models and leaders Assisting staff with daily camp routines as needed
