Position Summary:

Camp Tahuaya - a Family Adventure Campground - is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Groundskeeping Technician to maintain and enhance our outdoor spaces. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an active environment, enjoys working outdoors , and takes pride in creating well-kept, inviting spaces for guests. The ideal candidate is dependable, versatile, and detail-oriented , with a passion for hospitality and outdoor maintenance . You should be comfortable handling a variety of groundskeeping tasks, from landscaping and trail upkeep to ensuring facilities are safe and welcoming. Your work will directly shape the experience of campers, families, and adventurers, helping them enjoy a clean, inspiring, and memorable visit to Camp Tahuaya.

Key Responsibilities:

Create an inviting atmosphere by mowing, trimming, edging, planting, and removing debris. Enhance visitor experiences through seasonal tasks like mulching, flower planting, and decorations. Maintain safety and cleanliness by inspecting trails and camp facilities for hazards or pests. Support events and activities by assisting with setup, breakdown, and maintenance. Engage with guests , offering assistance and ensuring campground rules are followed.

What We're Looking For:

A dependable and proactive individual with groundskeeping experience . Familiarity with basic landscaping tools (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers, etc.). Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks. Positive, friendly attitude with a willingness to assist guests. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and perform physical labor. Flexible availability , including weekends and some holidays. Must be willing to become and maintain a registration with Scouting America (includes background check and training). Why Join Our Team?
