POSITION SUMMARY
Assists the Campus Kids (CKIDS) supervisor in providing a safe, well-supervised program, offering homework assistance, academic enrichment, and recreational and social activities to students in afterschool programs throughout the District. Assists with program planning and budget monitoring. This position reports to the Campus Kids Supervisor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides assistance to the district-level CKIDS Supervisor (review & approve CKIDS timesheets every other week & assist with additional payroll reports); assists district-Level CKIDS Supervisor in planning and implementing the before school and after school programs. Assists district-level CKIDS Supervisor in reviewing CKIDS Activity Leader applications - calling applicant when corrections are needed. Serves as liaison with Site Coordinators, parents, school personnel and the community in the district-Level CKIDS Supervisor's absence. Maintains knowledge and develops skills relating to school-age care. Conducts visits and observations at CKIDS sites routinely. Monitors schools' CKIDS budgets and generates monthly invoices for the schools to submit administrative fees and registration fees to the county. Conducts audits of Cash Receipts at the end of the school year. Provides field support in the day-to-day operations of the CKIDS Before and After School Programs. Provides on/off-site training on automated CKIDS applications, to include but not limited to tuition payments, attendance, financial reconciliation, enrollment and withdrawal, etc. Provides data for district's website. Serves as a liaison between site staff and the district-level CKIDS office. Attends Site Coordinator meetings and in-services. All other duties, as assigned and required, in order to perform the above services.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or GED required. Vocational training in field preferred. A minimum of four (4) years of school financial operations and/or bookkeeping experience required. Prior experience working with school-age care programs in a K-12 public school setting, or public/government setting preferred. Valid Driver's License required. Minimal independent judgment is necessary; must assist with program site evaluation requests and makes general recommendations to Supervisor. Supervisor is available to approve recommendations. Requires frequent contact with internal personnel to discuss issues of importance; requires contact with external entities. Excellent interpersonal skills are required for working with internal teams. Requires contact with external entities. Welfare of Others:
Periodically Normal office setting. Requires off-site visits to schools and central office. Light duty - On most occasions sitting at a desk or table; intermittently sitting, standing, or stooping. Light lifting or carrying 25 lbs. or less. Light lifting or carrying; twenty (20) lbs. or less.
NOTE:
This is a grade 23, 225-day position that pays for experience up to a Step 4.
