Security Site Supervisor Job Overview Synergy Security Services is looking to hire seasoned Unarmed Security Officers for South Carolina Low Country location. Responsibilities for Site Security Supervisor Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly Required to submit a Daily Activity report outlining all work performed while on shift Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings (ID badges and passes) Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy Assist employees and visitors with any concerns they might have Be familiar with access control systems, photo, ID, fire detection, suppression systems and life safety techniques. (Basic First Aid, CPR/AED) Expected to maintain a neat and professional image. Uniform must be neatly pressed, and boots shined Qualifications for Armed Security Officer High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Must be at least 21 years old Must be able to obtain a SLED card Legal Authority to work in the United States Ability to pass a background check Ability to pass drug test Ability to pass a polygraph test (if required by Client) Previous security-related work experience preferred Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations Proficient written and oral communication skills Must be literate in the English language to the extent of reading and understanding printed regulations, detailed written orders, training instructions and materials Must have integrity, be qualified, and experienced in an educational environment Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed Working knowledge of basic security technique Must work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions Regular-after hours work (nights, weekends, and holidays) Must possess a firsthand knowledge of Public Safety and Crime Prevention issues and be empowered to offer suggestions to the Department Pay Rate $14 per hour
