Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed Position Summary ORG Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cultivation Technician to join the team at Affinity Grow. In this role, you will support the daily cultivation and care of cannabis plants from propagation through harvest. The ideal candidate is hardworking, team-focused, and passionate about maintaining high-quality cultivation standards in a fast-paced production environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring plant health, maintaining clean and compliant cultivation spaces, and supporting overall operational success. Key Responsibilities Monitor cultivation rooms to maintain plant health and optimal environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, airflow, and CO₂ levels Assist with irrigation and fertigation systems, including monitoring nutrient levels, pH, EC, and water temperature Perform routine plant maintenance including potting, transplanting, pruning, de-leafing, staking, trellising, and harvesting Support Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices and promptly communicate plant health concerns to leadership Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of cultivation rooms, tools, and equipment Follow all PPE, hygiene, and cannabis compliance protocols at all times Assist with post-harvest activities including trimming, drying, curing, and packaging preparation Identify and report equipment or facility issues involving lighting, irrigation, tables, and environmental systems Work collaboratively with cultivation leadership and team members to achieve production goals Perform additional duties as assigned by the Cultivation Supervisor or management team Qualifications & Skills Basic understanding of horticulture, plant care, and cultivation practices preferred Experience in cannabis cultivation, greenhouse operations, agriculture, or indoor farming is a plus Familiarity with trimming, drying, and curing processes preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cannabis flower carefully and consistently Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills Comfortable working in changing environmental conditions including humidity, temperature fluctuations, and bright lighting Willingness to follow strict PPE, sanitation, and compliance procedures Flexibility to work overtime or additional hours as needed Eligibility Requirements Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Must meet all legal requirements to work in the cannabis industry Ability to pass a criminal background check if required by state regulations Reliable transportation required Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods Comfortable using ladders and working at heights occasionally Ability to work a full-time schedule with occasional overtime Reporting Structure This position reports directly to the Cultivation Supervisor .
