Quarterly Revenue Bonus Schedule:

3 days/week — 12-hour shifts (36-40 hrs/week) About the Role Our Budtenders are the face of Kansas City Cannabis. You're not just ringing up transactions — you're guiding patients and customers toward products that genuinely help them. That means knowing your stuff, owning your section, and showing up ready to deliver an elevated dispensary experience every shift. We hold high standards, and we support you in meeting them. This is a ground-floor opportunity at a brand-new location. The team you build relationships with here, the culture you help set — that's yours to shape. We're not looking for warm bodies to fill a shift. We're looking for professionals. Duties & Essential Functions Maintain a positive, customer-first attitude and strong work ethic on every shift. Demonstrate exemplary listening skills and the ability to convey accurate, helpful product information. Guide customers and patients to the best product for their individual needs. Maintain deep familiarity with Missouri cannabis regulations and company SOPs — compliance is non-negotiable. Ensure accurate inventory counts and accountability for all product on the floor. Verify Recommendations, Medical Marijuana Cards, and State IDs prior to granting dispensary access. Maintain accurate cash handling, till accountability, and deposit procedures. Zero tolerance for counterfeit currency. Accurately report patient purchases in the state portal for all medicated sales. Provide patients with appropriate educational materials when independent decision support is needed. Handle receptionist duties including answering phones and addressing general business inquiries. Accommodate scheduling needs including weekends and holidays as business requires. Complete onboarding training and engage with ongoing development offered by KCC. Perform additional duties as directed by management.
