Position Summary The Kitchen Technician I supports the day-to-day operations of the candy kitchen by assisting in the preparation, processing, and finishing of edible products. This is a hands-on, entry-level role focused on executing assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. Key Responsibilities Support production processes including demolding, sanding, and finishing gummies Assist with machine operation and material handling throughout production Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet established standards Accurately count, label, and stage finished products Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment, including dishwashing and sanitation Follow all SOPs, safety protocols, and compliance requirements Communicate issues or inconsistencies to leadership in a timely manner Support additional kitchen and production tasks as needed Qualifications 21+ years of age Basic math and counting skills Basic English reading and writing skills Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Physical Requirements Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to perform repetitive tasks with hands and arms Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Work Environment Production kitchen setting with food-grade and cannabis manufacturing standards Exposure to heat, humidity, and kitchen equipment Use of appropriate PPE as required Moderate noise levels and active workflow
