In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and customizing audio, video, and electronic accessories in a variety of vehicles, boats, SXS's, RV's and Harley Davidson's. Your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and passion for automotive technology will help elevate our customers' driving experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in automotive electrical systems. Duties Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot car audio systems including speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, head units, and multimedia interfaces Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and vehicle electrical layouts to ensure precise installations Use hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair tools to complete installations efficiently and safely Diagnose electrical issues related to audio systems using automotive diagnostics tools and techniques Collaborate with service technicians to ensure compatibility with vehicle electrical systems. Conduct vehicle inspections post-installation to verify proper operation of audio components and overall vehicle functionality Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and diagnostics for quality assurance and customer service purposes Experience Must have 3 years of professional experience in a Car Audio shop. Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, schematics reading, and diagnostics required Knowledge of vehicle wiring harnesses, and electronic modules highly desirable Service technician experience involving automotive repair or maintenance will support success in this role Strong mechanical skills combined with proficiency in hand tools, power tools, and automotive electrical troubleshooting This position is designed for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in automotive electronics while delivering exceptional service.
