Car Wash Attendadnt

The attendant will wash each customer's car based on the package they purchase. While you do not need to have formal training, we do prefer applicants with professional cleaning experience. Mechanical experience is also a plus, including how to change essential fluid, lubricate and maintain equipment. You must have strong physical stamina and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Duties and Responsibilities Perform any combination of following duties in automatic car wash Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor Discuss our package options with the customer. Assist customers with signing up for monthly fast pass packages or individual washes Operate wash computer system including cash register Receive payment from customer and/or issue change if necessary Complete open and close reports for cash received/dispensed Guide customers / vehicles onto conveyor & and prepare vehicles for wash Clean front & rear of vehicle, using spray wand and/or brush detergent Monitor wash mechanism and equipment and observe operation to detect equipment malfunctions Fill detergent and wax tanks, lubricate equipment, and replace spray jets and hoses as needed Clean up wash bay, parking and vacuum lot area at the end of your shift Perform routine maintenance of washing tools to keep them in good functioning order Follow quality and safety standards and practices to maintain a safe work environment General housekeeping duties of the work area including emptying vacuums and trash removal Any other duties assigned Requirements and Qualifications Cleaning experience Physical stamina Communication skills Attention to detail Strong work ethic Ability to work independently and perform responsibilities both indoors and outdoors Willing to wear designated uniform Reliable transportation to and from work (onsite parking provided) Ability to follow instructions from multiple parties, complete assigned tasks to required qualifications, and work as part of a team Ability to safely move and handle up to 50 lbs., and stand for extended periods of time Must be able to pass a random drug test and/or a criminal background investigation at the owner's discretion
