Car Wash Manager - Port Lavaca

Car Wash Manager Responsibilities:

Sales Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maximizing car wash at the location.
• Responsible for teaching and role modeling proper customer service and methods to increase sales.
• Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding budgeted sales and volume goals.
• Communicate sales and profitability goals to Car Wash team and provide timely feedback on results.
• Takes or assumes an active role in developing weekly sales goals.
• Ensure the overall customer's experience including safety, Car Wash condition, efficiency, pricing and service meets or exceeds established Company standards.

Administrative Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for completing all administrative duties in a timely fashion with a high degree of accuracy to insure correct Car Wash reporting.
• Insures each Car Wash invoice is correctly entered into the computer the day the invoice is received.
• Responsible for all required stats and logs to be completed accurately and available for review.
• Weekly Bank Deposit is prepared and ready according to policy and security guidelines.
• Ensures all company manuals and other issued books/manuals are current and available.

Company Property Management Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures all safety procedures and practices are being practiced by all employees.
• Ensures his/her Car Wash is a safe place to work and visit.
• Ability to open and close the Car Wash if applicable or in case of an emergency.
• Responsible to familiarize all employees with preventive maintenance and reporting procedures for any equipment which is unsafe or not operating.
• Follows up and report any inadequate response/repair to maintenance issues.
• Periodically or as directed, conducts property and equipment inspections noting any maintenance needs/repairs and notifying the appropriate person or company responsible.
• Daily general Car Wash condition and image should meet or exceed Company expectations.

Merchandising Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implements marketing, merchandising, and promotional plans in a timely and effectively manner.
• Responsible for his/her Car Wash's compliance with corporate retail pricing.
• Maintains proper ordering and chemical inventory levels.
• Ensures and maintains current displays, point of sale signage, and promotional aids & materials are available during the promotional period.
• Maintains the Car Wash interior and exterior image to promote increase sales.

Personnel Management Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing the quality of training, motivating and maintaining qualified employees to meet our Car Wash business model, customer needs and expectations.
• Encourages employees to seek and achieve their potential within the company.
• Manages a diverse and qualified Car Wash team. Does not tolerate the mistreatment or harassment of an employee due to their race, color, sex, religion, national origin, citizenship, status, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
• Follows our Performance Improvement Process and work with a employee to change their performance when the employee's performance does not meet our Company standards.

Staffing and Scheduling Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the active recruiting, interviewing, and hiring the most qualified employees to staff the Car Wash.
• Responsible for the completion and posting of the work schedule in a timely manner.
• Car Wash Manager will train one employee to assist and capable of fulfilling the Car WashManager's responsibilities in their absence.
• Proactive in recruiting and hiring candidate(s) to fill an opening which may be coming open or available.
