Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Advance your healthcare career as an Imaging - Cath Lab Tech specializing in cardiovascular procedures. This contract position calls for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with strong technical abilities and a patient-focused approach. Your expertise will be vital in supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent Current ARRT certification or RCIS credential State licensure (if required) Prior experience in a hospital-based Cath Lab or interventional radiology setting Proficiency with imaging equipment and sterile technique BLS and ACLS certification preferred Strong communication and organizational skills
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position; schedule details to be discussed during the interview process
Core Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging equipment for various cardiac and vascular procedures Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and related interventions Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, responding to critical situations as needed Adhere to established protocols for radiation safety and infection control Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and troubleshooting of catheterization lab equipment Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other staff to deliver comprehensive patient care Participate in on-call rotations if required This opportunity allows you to expand your skills in an advanced clinical setting while making a direct impact on patients' lives.
