Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated cardiovascular care team. Duties Conduct thorough patient evaluations including vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations focused on cardiac health. Order diagnostic procedures such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations in collaboration with physicians. Manage patient care plans by coordinating with cardiologists, primary care providers, and specialists across departments such as electrophysiology and heart failure clinics. Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like eClincalWorks, Epic or Cerner while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Provide education on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and disease management. Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner licensure with certification in cardiology or related specialties. Proven experience in critical care settings such as ICU or emergency medicine with a focus on cardiovascular patients. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; telehealth experience is a plus. Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation tools like sonography and medical imaging techniques relevant to cardiology. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, CPT coding for procedures, ICD coding for diagnoses (ICD-10), and Workers' Compensation law related to occupational health cases. Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to triage effectively in urgent care or emergency room environments. Pay:

$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
