Care Partner

Job Summary Our RN owned and operated small Assisted Living/Memory Care is seeking a few special, compassionate and dedicated Care Partners to join our team in providing exceptional support to our residents. As a Care Partner in this intimate, family-owned, non-corporate setting, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and your co-workers. Your hospitality-based approach and attentive nature will help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment where residents feel valued and cared for. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day by assisting with daily activities, supporting health and safety, and fostering independence. If you are interested and qualified, we will also train you to become proficient in assisting our residents with their self-medication needs, thereby adding significantly to your caregiver skill set, opportunities, and value. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health status is maintained If interested and qualfied, train to assist residents to self-administer medications following prescribed schedules and to document medication activities within our electronic medical record (EMR) systems (increase your skill set and value!) Provide compassionate Alzheimer's and dementia care by implementing personalized memory care strategies and behavior management techniques Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and hydration to promote proper nutrition and hydration habits Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and common spaces Engage residents in social activities and meaningful interactions to foster social well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home & community care settings preferred, but we will train applicants who are open and teachable Knowledge of first aid procedures and basic emergency response skills necessary for ensuring resident safety Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing memory loss or behavioral issues related to dementia or Alzheimer's disease (training provided) Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals Experience operating EMR systems for documentation purposes is a plus (training provided) Join us in making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve!
