The Care Specialist is responsible for following the clients' care plan by doing the following: Encouraging the client to participate in social activities whenever possible. Preparing nutritious meals. Maintaining home environment, making sure all rooms are clean, safe, and free from obstacles. Washing, drying, folding, and pressing laundry and linens. Changing linens. Shopping for groceries and household supplies. Assisting with transfers, ambulation, and range of motion exercises as needed. Participating in activities to ensure maximum orientation and optimal mental and emotional functioning. Transporting clients to and from appointments. Assisting in bathing, dressing, personal grooming, and oral hygiene as needed. Assisting in ensuring that medication is being taken as prescribed. Documenting tasks that are completed. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Training and certification will be provided by Caring Mission. Background check and TB test required. Additional Details
