Duties Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety. Support children with their routines, including preschool activities, toddler care, infant care, and engaging in early childhood education practices. Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive development and social skills. Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with disabilities or special needs, fostering a trusting relationship. Help with educational activities, teaching basic skills, and encouraging participation in age-appropriate learning experiences. Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or health concerns. Qualifications Prior experience working with children or in childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying is highly valued. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education is preferred. Certification or training in first aid is advantageous; willingness to obtain certification if not already held. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and adaptability in caregiving roles.
